Job summary

Agility Robotics in the United States is seeking a Senior Manager, Learning from Demonstration to lead research bridging AI/ML and functional robotic applications. You will guide initiatives from concept to MVP across real-time planning, whole body-control, and learning from demonstration, managing researchers and engineers in a culture of rigorous experimentation and ownership.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree requirement in CS/Robotics/EE or related field.
• 8+ years in AI/ML with at least 3 years in management.
• Proven experience deploying real-time AI for robotics or mission-critical systems.
• Strong background in CV, RL, and LLMs applied to robotics.
• Proven track record scaling high-performance teams.
• Experience deploying models on resource-constrained edge devices.

Responsibilities

• Oversee AI Innovation program end-to-end from concept to MVP.
• Lead a team of researchers and engineers and drive high-quality delivery.
• Collaborate with Hardware and Robot Software teams to optimize sensors for AI.
• Foster a culture of experimentation and ownership and hire/talent development.
