Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Senior Manager to lead the design, deployment, and sustainment of Operational Excellence across the distribution center network. You will embed Lean, standard work, and a performance system to lift safety, quality, and service while cutting loss and boosting productivity.

The role partners with DC leaders to build capability, develop talent, and deliver measurable business results through structured problem solving and system thinking.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and at least 4 years of experience in a supply chain or business role OR a High School/GED plus 7 years of experience in a supply chain or business role.
• At least 2 years of experience contributing to financial decisions in the workplace.
• At least 2 years of direct leadership, indirect leadership and/or cross-functional team leadership.
• Willing to travel up to 10% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).

Responsibilities

• Executes and/or oversees processes and approaches, translating strategic goals into actionable tactics.
• Implements strategic policies when selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
• Interacts regularly with senior management or executive levels on matters concerning several functional areas and stakeholders.
• Plans, develops and manages departmental budgets; establishes and assures adherence to budgets and schedules.
• Develops and mentors staff through onboarding, training and performance management processes.
