Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Distribution Center Function Lead in Moreno Valley to coordinate safe, efficient, and accurate daily operations across assigned functional areas. You will lead shift readiness, manage staffing, monitor productivity dashboards and KPI metrics, and champion adherence to safety standards.

The role includes training facilitation, problem-solving on workflow bottlenecks, and ensuring data accuracy in labor and productivity systems.

Qualifications

• Basic level Excel; Outlook and Word proficiency.
• Experience with LMS desired and familiarity with productivity, quality or safety metrics.
• Associate or Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supports a safe work environment by reinforcing safety standards and practices.
• Coordinates opening/closing shift activities and staffing readiness.
• Oversees performance through daily huddles and shift handoffs.
• Facilitates onboarding and training for new hires in the department.
• Identifies bottlenecks and communicates adjustments to leadership.
• Maintains data entry accuracy for WLM, labor tracking, and productivity systems.
• Monitors KPIs such as productivity, quality, safety, and attendance.
