Morrison Foerster invites applications for Senior Manager, Lateral Partner Integration in its Attorney Recruiting team. The role can be based in Washington, DC, New York, Los Angeles, or San Francisco and leads end-to-end onboarding and integration for lateral partners, coordinating with sponsors and department leaders.

You will design onboarding materials, oversee 100-day milestones, and drive initiatives that improve client retention and firm growth, reporting progress to leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree; 7–10 years in law firm attorney recruiting or related growth roles.
• Proven track record leading complex acquisitions, lateral hires, and post-transaction integrations.
• Strong project management skills with ability to manage confidential, multi-stakeholder programs.
• Ability to build relationships with partner-level talent and cross-functional teams.
• Strategic thinker with understanding of law firm economics, pricing, and profitability.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end integration of lateral partners and firm groups across clients, operations, and culture.
• Design a scalable onboarding framework to accelerate partner integration and long-term success.
• Coordinate with sponsor partners, Directors, IT, and Marketing to ensure smooth arrivals.
• Manage conflicts checks, engagement letters, and onboarding schedules.
• Develop integration materials and presentations tailored to incoming partners.
• Monitor progress through 100-day milestones with regular check-ins.
• Provide training and networking opportunities with leadership at retreats and meetings.
• Establish governance, timelines, and metrics to report to CPO and senior leadership.
• Mentor and develop direct reports to meet client service and business objectives.
