Job summary

CenterPoint Energy, Inc. in Houston seeks a Large Customer Projects Manager to lead the project management team and execute customer-driven capital projects from inception to close-out.

You will collaborate with engineering, regulatory, finance, procurement and other groups, manage budgets and forecasts, and drive process improvements while ensuring safety and compliance across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, or related discipline, or 9 years of electric utility experience.
• Minimum of 6 years’ experience in the electric utility.

Responsibilities

• Lead project management team to execute customer-driven capital projects.
• Partner with stakeholders across engineering, regulatory, finance, procurement and logistics.
• Ensure safety, compliance, and documentation across the project lifecycle.
• Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics.
• Drive process improvements and risk mitigation.
