Prestige Staffing is seeking a Senior Manager of IT Field Solutions to lead a traveling IT team providing 24/7 support for technician software, hardware, and connectivity across multiple locations nationwide. The role requires hands-on leadership overseeing outdoor field operations and driving service excellence with a strong leadership team.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in IT service/field support, experience managing remote teams, and a passion for fieldwork in outdoor environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in IT service or field support, including leadership of field-based teams.
• Proven ability to manage a traveling workforce and support multi-site operations.
• Excellent collaboration, communication, and customer service skills.
• Passion for hands-on fieldwork and IT in outdoor environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the IT Field Solutions team supporting technicians in all locations.
• Ensure reliable, real-time support for laptops, tablets, software, controllers, and VPN connectivity.
• Manage field support processes tailored for rooftop, outdoor, and after-hours work, including on-call coverage.
• Monitor team performance metrics and implement continuous improvements.
• Serve as primary liaison for Service Leadership and collaborate on strategic initiatives.
• Design and oversee an apprenticeship program fostering field talent transition from IT to Control Technician roles.
• Drive process improvements and technology adoption to enhance technician productivity and support.
• Ensure safety compliance, cybersecurity, and risk management in all field operations.
