Job summary

Cisco Systems, Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager to lead Infrastructure Efficiency & Capacity Management across compute, storage, and cloud/PaaS/Kubernetes. You will guide an analytics-driven team responsible for demand forecasting, unit economics, and TCO modeling, influencing large-scale infrastructure investments.

The role reports to the Infrastructure Efficiency & Capacity Management leadership and collaborates with finance, procurement, and operations. Hybrid work in the US is supported.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in a technical field.
• 12+ years of professional infrastructure engineering, cloud/platform systems, or capacity planning.
• 5+ years leading high-performing technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead an engineering/analytics org responsible for multi-million dollar infrastructure planning and TCO modeling.
• Establish demand forecasting, unit economics, and workload allocation with disciplined forecasting.
• Evaluate material infrastructure purchases, cloud expansions, and hardware refreshes using defined demand signals and metrics.
• Govern cross-domain efficiency strategies including workload placement, right-sizing, and cloud commitments.
• Collaborate with Corporate Finance to verify savings and avoid double counting.
• Communicate strategic recommendations and investment risks to executives and cross-functional teams.
