Cisco Systems, Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager to lead Infrastructure Efficiency and Capacity Management across compute, storage, and cloud platforms.

You will drive multi-million dollar planning and lifecycle economics, linking telemetry to strategic investment decisions. You will build an analytics organization, establish an operating model, and present evidence-based recommendations to executive leadership while collaborating with finance, procurement, and operations to ensure scalable,

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field plus 12+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, cloud/platform systems, or enterprise capacity planning.
• 5+ years leading senior technical teams (staff/principal engineers, architects, or technical managers).
• Experience directing capacity planning, hardware/cloud lifecycles, workload utilization modeling, and multi-service environments.
• Experience developing quantitative capacity models, demand forecasts, scenario analyses, or TCO/CapEx/OpEx business cases.

Responsabilidades

• Build and lead a high-caliber team of engineers and analysts focused on capacity economics and platform efficiency.
• Establish a repeatable operating model for demand forecasting, unit economics, and cloud/hardware investments.
• Direct evaluations of infrastructure purchases, cloud expansions, and hardware refreshes using data signals and cost models.
• Govern cross-domain efficiency strategies including workload placement, right-sizing, and cloud commitments.
• Partner with Corporate Finance to verify savings and ensure no double counting; report outcomes to executives.
