Job summary

Gainor Staffing seeks a Senior Manager of Human Resources to partner with firm leadership, attorneys, and staff. You will guide employee relations, HR strategy, and firm-wide initiatives, aligning policies with compliance and business goals.

With 7+ years in progressive HR roles, you’ll lead investigations, coaching, and workforce development while supervising the HR team. This Chicago-based, hybrid role offers a competitive salary and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive HR experience including employee relations.
• Strategic HRBP experience with investigations, conflict resolution, and employment law compliance.
• Experience advising senior leadership and supervising HR staff.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Law firm HR experience preferred; immigration law knowledge highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Advise leaders on employee relations, HR strategy, policy, and compliance.
• Lead complex investigations and partner with employment counsel and the General Counsel’s Office.
• Drive retention, performance management, training, mentoring, and succession planning initiatives.
• Oversee leave administration, staff evaluations, and related HR processes.
• Coach leaders and supervise HR Coordinator/Leave Administration responsibilities.

Who You Are

• You have 7+ years of experience in progressive HR roles, including employee relations
