Job summary

Habitat Chicago seeks a Senior Manager, Homeownership Programs to lead strategy, education and operations for its homeownership initiatives. You will collaborate with housing development, neighborhood engagement, volunteers and partners to ensure accessible programs that support prospective and current homeowners.

The role emphasizes data-driven planning, cross-functional leadership and strong community partnerships to expand homeownership opportunities in Chicago.

Qualifications

• Experience leading housing, homeownership, housing counseling, community development or related programs from planning through implementation and evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Lead homeownership program strategy and planning (25%), translating priorities into effective programs and participant experiences.
• Lead the delivery and improvement of homeownership education programs, including Homebuyer University and AHP.
• Develop outreach and recruitment strategies to build a strong pipeline of participants and connect them to resources.
• Oversee program operations and ensure high-quality service to prospective and current homeowners.
• Monitor goals, measure outcomes, and manage budgets, resources and risks.
• Supervise, coach and develop staff while fostering collaboration across teams.
• Represent Habitat Chicago with residents, volunteers, partners, donors and officials.
