Job summary

CVS Health in Dallas–Fort Worth (preferred) seeks a Senior Manager, Contracts to negotiate and manage hospital and physician contracts, and to implement value-based arrangements. You will lead cross-functional negotiation efforts, recruit providers, and analyze cost and performance data to optimize the network.

This individual contributor role partners with CVS departments and providers to improve access, quality and financial outcomes, while aligning with regulatory requirements and regional

Qualifications

• 7+ years negotiating contracts with hospitals, facilities and physician groups.
• Ability to leverage market data, financial metrics and analysis to secure favorable outcomes.
• 3+ years provider relationship management with contract management experience.
• Knowledge of provider financial issues, contracting options and regulatory requirements.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end contract negotiations with hospitals and physician groups.
• Manage contract performance and develop value-based arrangements.
• Identify, recruit and onboard providers to meet network targets.
• Collaborate cross-functionally on provider compensation and pricing.
• Analyze financial and operational data to identify cost savings opportunities.
• Represent CVS to providers, customers and community stakeholders.
• Evaluate provider network strategy to align with state requirements and product needs.
• Address escalations related to claims, contract interpretation and data accuracy.
