Job summary

Invariant, a bipartisan government relations and communications firm, seeks a Senior Manager in Government Relations with strong ties to Democratic members to join our oversight and investigations team. You will work with colleagues to gain insights into policymaking, building your network on the Hill and with Washington stakeholders.

You will lead projects, draft inquiries, manage teams, and develop client-facing materials, while identifying new business opportunities and ensuring timely

Qualifications

• 6-10 years of Capitol Hill and/or government affairs org experience.
• Experience with House Democrats and relationships with Democratic members/staff preferred.
• Experience conducting congressional investigations, including drafting inquiries and hearings prep.
• Deep understanding of congressional committees, oversight, and political dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Prepare call/meeting agendas and coordinate internal follow-ups.
• Ensure success of key deliverables within resources and timelines.
• Assist in proposal and pitch development; draft materials.
• Lead small internal teams and mentor junior staff.
• Serve as subject matter expert on policy issues.
