Job summary

EY in McLean, VA is seeking a Senior Manager in Government and Infrastructure Assurance to lead client engagements, manage teams, and deliver quality audit and assurance services for federal, state and local clients. You will build relationships, guide projects, and apply deep knowledge of accounting and auditing standards.

You may travel up to 25-30% in a hybrid environment while supporting diverse government clients and driving project success across engagements.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Approximately 4 years of audit experience with a public accounting firm
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret clearance or higher

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary day-to-day client contact, building relationships and managing teams and projects
• Direct field work and inform supervisors of engagement status
• Demonstrate understanding of complex accounting and auditing concepts
• Provide guidance to assurance staff and conduct performance reviews
• Lead an efficient, innovative team environment and leverage technology to enhance service delivery
• Identify opportunities to apply EY’s services within client environments
