Job summary

Strava, the app for active people, seeks a Senior Manager, Workplace, to lead a team across the US and own the global workplace employee experience budget and real estate contracts. You will build a standardized Workplace playbook that scales across all offices, collaborating with People, IT/Security, and Legal to ensure security and compliance.

This highly cross-functional role is hands-on, overseeing Strava's San Francisco office (five days on-site) and coordinating with regional coordinators

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in workplace, facilities, or real estate operations.
• Proven experience managing people, including distributed or remote teams.
• Experience owning operations across multiple sites or offices.
• Experience managing a budget of $10M+ including vendor and contract negotiations.
• Experience with international real estate or lease management is a plus.
• Experience scaling workplace operations at a fast-growing company is a plus.
• Familiarity with workplace technology and systems (badge access, space management platforms) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve Strava's global Workplace playbook, standardizing processes, procedures, and security/visitor protocols across all 9+ office locations.
• Manage and grow a team of workplace professionals across multiple US offices, providing delegation, coaching, and support.
• Own the annual global employee experience workplace budget, including landlord relationships and vendor negotiations.
• Partner with People leadership, IT/Security, and Legal to ensure consistent security and compliance practices across all offices.
• Lead day-to-day workplace operations for Strava's San Francisco office (5 days on-site), including events, space planning, and systems.
• Collaborate with workplace coordinators in each office to implement best practices and maintain global consistency.
• Build scalable systems and processes that support Strava's continued global office expansion.
