About the Role

The Senior Manager, Global Compensation is a key leader within the Total Rewards team, responsible for designing, implementing, and managing compensation strategies that attract, retain, and motivate top talent. This role will help advance reward programs that are consistent with the company’s total rewards philosophy, talent strategy, and core values.

Ideally, this person will come from a fast-paced environment with a strategic mentality. This person will be comfortable within a growing business and can deal with modern compensation issues.

What You’ll Do
Compensation Strategy & Design
  • Lead the development and execution of base, broad-based variable, sales incentives and equity compensation programs.
  • Oversee the job evaluation process including strategy, methodology, and overall process.
  • Partner with the Talent Operations team to lead the semi-annual compensation planning process, including the budget development, planning guidelines, and overall communication strategy and approach.
  • Partner with Talent Business Partners and Management to provide advice and guidance on job design, pay decisions, plan interpretations, and job evaluations.
  • Lead the ongoing plan design and administration of incentive plans (annual bonus plans, sales plans), distribute incentive plan documents, and facilitate payout processes in partnership with Finance, Sales, and Payroll.
Analytics & Compliance
  • Guides compensation analytics and reporting to support business decisions and ensure pay equity.
  • Monitors compensation trends and proactively identifies opportunities for optimization.
  • Ensures compliance with global, federal, and multi-state wage and hour regulations and compensation disclosure laws (e.g. pay transparency, pay equity).
  • Partners with Legal, Compliance, Talent Business Partners, Finance and Audit to mitigate risks.
  • Lead compensation audits and support internal/external audit requests.
Collaboration & Communication
  • Collaborate with Talent Business Partners to develop, assess and lead compensation discussions, programs and processes to support strategic business objectives.
  • Applies advanced compensation knowledge to address complex challenges and develop solutions.
  • Create and delivers compelling training and communications to ensure clarity and alignment on compensation programs.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on compensation trends, tools, and best practices.
  • Leads and develops a strong and collaborative compensation team that supports and enables our business.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or related field; Master’s degree or CCP certification preferred.
  • Greater than 10 years of progressive experience in compensation, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of compensation principles, job evaluation methodologies, and market pricing tools including MarketPay
  • Experience with Workday HCM and the Advanced Compensation module
  • Expert-level Excel and data interpretation skills.
  • Highly skilled in written and verbal communication. Can explain complex compensation concepts clearly and persuasively.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Thrives in an environment of rapid change, can balance agility with a high bar for quality and precision.
Preferred Attributes
  • Experience in a global or multi-national organization.
  • Familiarity with executive compensation, long-term incentives and public company reporting requirements.
  • Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to execution.
