Job summary

Hitachi Global Air Power US, LLC is seeking a Manager of Supply Chain Management in Michigan City, Indiana. The role leads sourcing and material planning for factory production and aftermarket operations, coordinating local and international procurement while ensuring on-time delivery and supplier performance.

You will collaborate with Manufacturing and Materials Planning teams, optimize SAP Planning Parameters, and drive improvements in inventory balance and costs.

Qualifications

• BS Degree or equivalent work experience is preferred.
• Ten years of purchasing, planning or supply chain experience within industrial manufacturing is expected.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work across all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team that performs local and international sourcing and delivery.
• Manage planning and delivery of raw material in support of production.
• Ensure on-time delivery from suppliers to support the production schedule.
• Develop and improve processes, systems, and procedures.
