What we do at Weir

We are a global leader in mining technology for a sustainable future. We help our customers extract the resources the world needs more efficiently and more sustainably. Our planet’s future depends on the transition to renewable energy, and that transition can only happen with the metals and minerals our customers deliver. So, we work side by side with mines across the globe to move less rock, use less energy, use water wisely, and create less waste. Together, we drive the shift to smart, efficient, and more sustainable mining.

  • Cross-Functional Alignment & Influence: Bring Commercial, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and Regional Leadership teams together around one forward‑looking enterprise plan. Build strong stakeholder relationships, navigate competing priorities, and influence alignment across a complex global organization.
  • Change Leadership & Organizational Adoption: Champion planning transformation initiatives by driving engagement, adoption, and accountability across regions and functions. Help teams navigate change effectively, balancing progress with practical implementation while fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Planning Capability & Digital Enablement: Support the deployment and advancement of enterprise planning capabilities. Strengthen planning maturity by developing processes, capabilities, and organizational expertise that enable scalable and sustainable business planning.

  • Experience working with advanced planning solutions such as Kinaxis, SAP IBP, Blue Yonder, OMP, or similar platforms.
  • Strong understanding of demand planning, supply planning, inventory management, capacity planning, and executive business review processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and drive decisions across multiple functions and geographic regions.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to adapt messaging for technical, operational, commercial, and executive audiences.
