Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Senior Manager, Program Management to lead strategic initiatives within the People Team for Global Walmart Connect and Sam’s Club Connect. The role drives scalable people strategies, organizational planning, and program execution in a cross-functional environment.

You will mentor teams, define goals with senior leaders, and oversee process improvements aligned to company strategy, contributing to high performance and accountability across the business.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience leading cross-functional teams.
• 3 years’ experience using Microsoft Office (intermediate) or equivalent experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field and 4 years’ experience in project management, compliance, operations management, or related area OR 6 years’ experience in project management, compliance, operations management, or related area.

Responsibilities

• Drive execution of multiple business plans by identifying needs, developing priorities, and removing obstacles to enhance performance.
• Lead and develop associates through mentoring, coaching, and performance management to build a high-performing team.
• Partner with senior leaders to define goals, assess risks, and communicate program requirements to stakeholders and executive leadership.
• Oversee program management process improvements by conducting analyses, developing solutions, and ensuring alignment with company strategy.
• Foster collaboration across teams to increase service capabilities and implement process enhancements.
• Oversee workforce planning, and cyclical programs including performance management, talent reviews, succession planning, engagement, and the Annual Operating Plan.
