Job summary

Evidence Action, based in Washington, DC, seeks a Senior Manager, Program Finance to lead the financial partner role for the Syphilis-Free Start program as it expands. You will build models, forecast costs, and manage funding strategies across countries, ensuring strong financial governance across regions.

You will work closely with global leaders and across Finance, Grants, Growth, and Operations to provide timely insights, drive decision-making, and optimize resource allocation for impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with at least 6 years of related experience.
• Led financial planning, analysis, and management for complex programs with multiple budgets and donors.
• Able to translate program assumptions into budgets and recommendations; communicate risks and tradeoffs clearly.

Responsibilities

• Shape Financial Strategy and Plans for multi-country programs.
• Build multi-year financial models linking design, staffing, timing, delivery, and funding.
• Analyze delivery and one-time costs, shared expenses, and funding runway.
• Lead annual budgets, forecasts, revisions, and scenario planning.
• Develop proposals and funding strategies with clear cost structures.
• Advise leadership on donor restrictions, cost recovery, and flexible-funding needs.
• Establish consistent budgeting standards and documentation across countries.
• Define finance workstreams for country entry and partnerships, including due diligence and cash-flow design.
• Manage finances across teams, conduct regular reviews, and support decision-making.
