Job summary

Intuitive is seeking a senior planning leader to establish policies and direct planning activities at the raw component level. You will partner with Planning, Procurement, Manufacturing and Service teams to optimize MRP loads, inventory strategies, and material flow across multiple plants.

The role emphasizes chronic shortage mitigation, cross-functional collaboration, and leading recovery strategies for major product transitions.

Qualifications

• Masters or BS degree or equivalent.
• 12+ years of experience in Production Planning, Demand/Supply planning, Purchasing, Inventory Management domains
• 5+ years of experience in directly managing high performing teams.
• Multi-plant work experience highly desired

Responsibilities

• Establish policies guiding strategies and execution of planning tools, processes, and personnel to direct planning activities at raw component level.
• Ensure accuracy of MRP Plan loads and component buffering.
• Lead line side Kanban sizing and closed loop implementation with cross-functional teams.
• Identify chronic shortages and drive recovery and material flow improvements from warehouse to production lines.
• Manage material flow between factories, transfers, and allocation of raw materials across locations.
