Job summary

Tekion is seeking a Senior Manager, FP&A to lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting across multiple units. You will partner with senior leadership to deliver actionable insights and drive performance improvements.

You will manage a team of analysts, develop dashboards, and scale planning processes with modern tools, ensuring accurate reporting and value-driven decision support.

Qualifications

• Experience leading financial planning cycles and delivering actionable business insights.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and financial modeling.
• Experience with planning/reporting tools (Anaplan, Adaptive Insights, Power BI).
• Exposure to ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, or NetSuite.

Responsibilities

• Oversees annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and long-range planning for assigned functions.
• Provides financial analysis and scenarios for executive leadership.
• Maintains dashboards and metrics aligned with company goals.
• Leads cross-functional FP&A reviews and aligns results with strategy.
• Ensures timely financial reporting, variance analysis, and leadership commentary.
• Implements planning tools and processes to scale FP&A capabilities.
• Mentors a team of finance analysts and managers.

Job Introduction:

The Senior Manager, FP&A leads financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities across multiple business units or corporate functions. Provides executive-level financial insights and partners with leadership to support strategic decision‑making. Manages a team of analysts and drives improvements in planning tools, processes, and reporting.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

• Oversees annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and long‑range planning cycles for assigned functions or business lines.

• Provides financial analysis and recommendations to executive leadership, including scenario modeling and strategic insights.

• Develops and maintains financial dashboards and performance metrics aligned with company goals.

• Leads cross‑functional financial reviews and drives alignment between financial results and business strategy.

• Ensures timely and accurate financial reporting, variance analysis, and commentary for leadership and board reporting.

• Implements planning tools and process enhancements to scale FP&A capabilities and improve forecast accuracy.

• Manages and mentors a team of finance analysts and managers, supporting career development and performance excellence.

Basic Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or strategic business analysis

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CFA strongly preferred

• Proven experience managing financial planning cycles and delivering actionable business insights

• Strong proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and planning/reporting tools (e.g., Anaplan, Adaptive Insights, Power BI)

• Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, or NetSuite

• Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
