Job summary

Vaco by Highspring in New York City seeks a Senior Manager, FP&A (Supply Chain Operations Finance) to lead budgeting, forecasting and performance management across operational functions for a prestige CPG brand. You will partner with business leaders to drive financial discipline and provide insights to guide decision-making.

The role requires 5+ years FP&A, supply chain experience in a CPG environment and strong modeling, reporting and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics.
  • 5+ years of FP&A, corporate finance, business partnering, or related roles.
  • Experience supporting operational, supply chain, manufacturing, procurement, logistics, or related functions.
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and performance analysis.
  • Ability to interpret complex data and communicate insights to stakeholders.
  • Strong business partnering, communication, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead annual budgeting, periodic forecasting, and long-range planning for assigned business areas.
  • Develop financial models and analyses for operational and strategic decisions.
  • Monitor performance against plans; identify risks, opportunities, and drivers.
  • Prepare projections and scenario analyses for changing needs.
  • Collaborate with leaders to understand objectives and support financial decisions.
  • Provide insights to improve efficiency, resource use, and performance.
  • Support cost management, process improvements, and growth initiatives.
  • Translate financial information into actionable recommendations for leaders.
  • Analyze monthly/quarterly results and highlight trends and variances.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and KPIs for visibility and accountability.
  • Present findings to finance and business leadership; mentor finance team.

Role: Senior Manager, FP&A (Supply Chain Operations Finance)

Salary: $120,000 - $150,000/annually

Location: New York City (Hybrid - 3 days a week onsite)

About the Role: Our client, a prestige CPG brand, is seeking a finance professional to support planning, forecasting, and business performance management activities across operational functions. This role will serve as a strategic partner to business leaders, helping to drive financial discipline, improve visibility into performance, and support decision‑making through analysis and insights. The ideal candidate combines strong financial acumen with a business‑partnering mindset and is comfortable working across multiple functions to support both strategic initiatives and day‑to‑day financial management.

Must have prior FP&A experience within supply chain at a CPG company.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead annual budgeting, periodic forecasting, and long‑range planning activities for assigned business areas
  • Develop financial models and analyses to support operational and strategic decision‑making
  • Monitor performance against plans and forecasts, identifying risks, opportunities, and key business drivers
  • Prepare financial projections and scenario analyses to support changing business needs
  • Collaborate with operational and functional leaders to understand business objectives and support financial decision‑making
  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve efficiency, resource utilization, and overall business performance
  • Support initiatives focused on cost management, process improvement, and growth opportunities
  • Act as a trusted advisor to leaders by translating financial information into actionable recommendations
  • Analyze monthly and quarterly financial results, highlighting trends and significant variances
  • Develop and maintain reporting tools, dashboards, and key performance metrics
  • Track operational and financial performance indicators to improve visibility and accountability
  • Present findings and recommendations to finance and business leadership teams
  • Mentor and support finance team members, helping drive professional growth and development
  • Foster a collaborative, high‑performance work environment focused on continuous improvement
  • Contribute to the establishment of best practices across financial planning and reporting processes

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, business partnering, or related finance roles
  • Experience supporting operational, supply chain, manufacturing, procurement, logistics, or other business functions is required
  • Background in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and performance analysis
  • Ability to interpret complex data and communicate meaningful insights to various stakeholders
  • Excellent business partnering, communication, and presentation skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Comfortable working in fast‑paced, evolving environments
  • Experience with ERP systems, financial planning platforms, or business intelligence tools preferred
  • Ability to develop reporting solutions and performance dashboards that support business decision‑making
