Job summary

Vaco by Highspring in Manhattan, New York is seeking a Senior Manager, FP&A to drive strategic financial planning, cost optimization, and cross-functional value creation across our global operations.

You will partner with executive stakeholders, oversee end-to-end FP&A activities, and mentor a high-performing finance team, delivering insights that shape business decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline
• 5+ years FP&A or Supply Chain Finance experience, multinational exposure preferred
• Advanced financial modeling in Excel; ERP experience (NetSuite preferred)
• Strong analytical and executive communication skills
• Ability to manage month-end close and proactive forecasting under tight deadlines

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning for the global supply chain
• Evaluate month-end drivers against budget/forecast and prior year to enforce cost-saving initiatives
• Collaborate with Commercial, Marketing, Logistics, Procurement, and Operations on value-creation programs
• Develop and monitor KPIs; enhance reporting tools and data modeling for visibility
• Mentor and develop finance team in a culture of accountability and growth

Location: Manhattan, New York - *Union Square - Hybrid - 3 days a week onsite*

Position Overview

We are seeking a results-oriented Senior Manager, FP&A to drive strategic financial planning, cost optimization, and cross-functional value creation across our global operations. In this role, you will partner directly with executive stakeholders, oversee end-to-end FP&A activities, and mentor a high-performing finance team.

Core Responsibilities

• Financial Planning & Analysis: Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning for the global supply chain, monitoring expenditure alongside regional and functional leaders.
• Variance & Cost Analysis: Evaluate month-end financial drivers against budget, forecast, and prior-year benchmarks to enforce accountability for cost-saving programs.
• Strategic Business Partnering: Collaborate with Commercial, Marketing, Logistics, Procurement, and Operations leads to evaluate, track, and execute value-creation initiatives.
• Performance Measurement & Systems: Develop and monitor key financial and operational KPIs, improving organizational visibility through enhanced reporting tools and data modeling.
• Team Leadership: Mentor and develop finance team members, building a culture grounded in accountability, collaboration, and continuous professional growth.

• Primary Interfaces: Supply Chain, Inventory Management, Procurement, Logistics, Operations, Executive Finance Leadership

Required Qualifications

• Education & Credentials: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline. CPA, CMA, or MBA strongly preferred.
• Experience: 5+ years of progressive FP&A or Supply Chain Finance experience, preferably within a multinational CPG or beauty enterprise.
• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in financial modeling (Excel, PowerPoint) and large ERP environments (NetSuite preferred; NSPB and SmartView skills are a plus).
• Core Competencies: Strong analytical capacities, executive-level communication, and a proven track record of managing month-end close and strategic forecasts.
• Professional Attributes: Comfort offering constructive challenge and strategic pushback; ability to seamlessly balance high-level strategic planning with detailed execution under tight deadlines.
