Job summary

• 6-8+ years of FP&A, accounting, financial reporting, or financial analysis.
• Strong FP&A, financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting expertise.
• Proven leadership experience managing staff, projects, or functional areas.
• Experience with government, institutional, nonprofit, or grant-funded contracts preferred.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office; Tableau and ERP systems a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead FP&A, including annual budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and multi-year planning.
• Develop financial models and analyze programs, contracts, and organizational performance to support strategic decisions.
• Partner with department leaders on budgets, cost management, and financial planning.
• Oversee financial reporting, dashboards, and data analytics using Tableau or similar tools.
• Manage the revenue cycle, including billing, invoicing, collections, cash application, and reconciliations.
• Review journal entries, reconciliations, month-end close, and other accounting activities.
• Support audits, compliance, internal controls, and government/institutional contract reporting.
• Identify opportunities to improve and automate finance processes using AI, technology, and emerging tools.
• Evaluate and implement financial systems, reporting tools, and process improvements.
• Lead and mentor finance team members while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Present financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership.

• Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office; experience with Tableau, ERP systems, and financial reporting platforms preferred.


• Demonstrated ability to leverage AI and emerging technologies to improve financial workflows and analysis.


• Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.


• Highly organized, proactive, collaborative, and adaptable in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
