Edward Mann are partnered with a growing Consumer Goods business based in Atlanta, Georgia, who are looking to appoint a Senior Manager – FP&A to join their finance team.
This is a high-impact role for an experienced FP&A professional who enjoys working closely with senior leadership and using financial data to influence commercial decisions. You will play a key role in driving the planning and forecasting agenda, while providing clear financial insight into business performance, growth opportunities and key risks.
Working closely with the CFO and wider leadership team, you will take ownership of core FP&A activities while partnering with stakeholders across the organisation. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to take on greater strategic responsibility within a fast-paced Consumer Goods environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the annual budgeting, long-range planning and forecasting processes.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic and commercial decision-making.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial forecasts, providing clear analysis and commentary on key movements.
- Partner with senior leaders across Sales, Marketing, Operations and other business functions to understand performance and identify opportunities.
- Analyse revenue, gross margin, operating expenses and profitability against budget, forecast and prior-year performance.
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators and provide actionable insight to senior management.
- Support commercial planning, including pricing, promotional activity, product performance and investment decisions.
- Produce high-quality management presentations and financial reporting for senior leadership.
- Identify trends, risks and opportunities within the business and translate financial data into clear recommendations.
- Improve FP&A processes, reporting tools and financial models to increase efficiency and visibility.
- Support ad-hoc strategic projects, business cases and financial analysis as required.
About You
- Experience within FP&A, financial planning, commercial finance or a closely related discipline.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
- Strong experience across budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling and variance analysis.
- Proven ability to business partner with senior non-finance stakeholders.
- Commercially minded, with the ability to look beyond the numbers and understand the wider business.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience working with financial planning/reporting systems.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly.
- Experience within Consumer Goods, Retail, Manufacturing or another product-led environment would be highly beneficial.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, changing environment and managing multiple priorities.
