Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company seeks a Senior Manager, Financial Reporting to oversee external financial reporting in accordance with SEC regulations and U.S. GAAP from its Cranberry Township, PA headquarters.

The role leads the preparation and filing of 10-Q/10-K and other disclosures, coordinating with Technical Accounting, Legal, and Investor Relations. Responsibilities include managing statements and footnotes, MD&A coordination, and ensuring timely, transparent reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; CPA preferred.
• CPA certification.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting and financial reporting experience including SEC registrant/public company.
• Experience preparing SEC filings (10-Q, 10-K, 8-K).
• MD&A disclosures coordination with Finance, Legal and leadership.
• Technical accounting with knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC disclosure rules.
• SOX requirements and internal controls over financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and filing of Forms 10-Q, 10-K, 8-K, and other SEC filings.
• Manage the preparation of financial statements, footnote disclosures, and schedules.
• Review MD&A disclosures and earnings release materials for consistency and accuracy.
• Use Workiva to manage the preparation, review, and filing of SEC reports.
• Coordinate quarterly and annual reporting with Accounting, FP&A, Legal, Tax, Treasury, and Investor Relations.
• Ensure compliance with SEC disclosure requirements including XBRL.
• Monitor SEC regulations and disclosures and assess impact on the company.
• Partner with Technical Accounting on SEC comments and related disclosures.
• Support SOX compliance and strengthen internal controls over financial reporting.
• Lead and develop the financial reporting team and improve processes.
