Job summary

Vuori in Carlsbad, California, is seeking a Financial Assurance Senior Manager to lead the accounting organization’s external reporting, technical accounting research, and the close process.

You’ll own financial statements, footnotes, and disclosures, collaborate with Tax, Treasury, FP&A, Legal, and Internal Audit to ensure accurate, scalable reporting and public-company readiness; CPA required; 10+ years in financial reporting.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in financial reporting, accounting, or external audit in a public company setting.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, close processes, and footnote disclosures.
• Experience supporting external reporting and audit reviews.
• Technical accounting memo writing and standards evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, footnotes, and disclosures.
• Coordinate cross-functionally with Tax, Treasury, FP&A, IT, Payroll, Legal, and Operations for reporting improvements.
• Monitor evolving accounting standards and implement changes across statements and disclosures.
• Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures; drive scalable reporting controls.
• Lead cross-functional projects and advise on accounting implications of new initiatives.
