Job summary

Superior Construction seeks a Senior Manager - Financial Reporting to lead a small team and deliver accurate financial analyses for operational business lines and segments. The role supports the accounting/FP&A close and interacts with external auditors.

The position requires a Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance, CPA or CCIFP preferred, and 1–2 years construction experience (POC) with travel 30–40% to project sites. A master’s degree is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance or related; CPA/CCIFP encouraged.
• Master’s degree in Accounting/Finance preferred; 1–2 years construction industry experience with Percentage of Completion is a plus.
• Must possess or be able to obtain a valid state driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 2–3 financial and accounting analysts.
• Tie financial statement line items to general ledger and cost reports.
• Manage the financial statement audit.
• Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
• Support external audits by preparing schedules and answering auditors’ questions.
• Prepare and analyze records and reports; perform account reconciliations.
• Book monthly activity for related entities.
• Participate in special projects and training; foster safe work environment.
