Qualifications

• 7+ years in IT, financial systems, enterprise applications, or finance transformation
• 3+ years of leadership leading people, projects, or transformation initiatives
• Experience managing ERP, planning, forecasting, consolidation, reporting, analytics, automation, or BI platforms
• Strong understanding of accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, planning, and finance processes
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives involving Finance, IT, and business stakeholders
• Knowledge of systems integration, data governance, reporting, analytics, and automation
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to translate requirements into tech solutions

Responsibilities

• Develop and progress a multi-year finance technology roadmap
• Lead execution and enhancement of the finance technology roadmap aligned to transformation goals

About the Role

We are seeking a technically strong and strategic Senior Manager, Finance Technology & Transformation to lead the evolution of our finance technology landscape and drive initiatives that modernize finance operations. This role will serve as a critical bridge between Finance and IT, partnering with business leaders to optimize financial systems, enhance data and analytics capabilities, and deliver innovative technology solutions that improve efficiency, scalability, technology-based controls, and decision-making.

The ideal candidate brings a blend of deep finance systems expertise, hands‑on technology experience, leadership capability, and a passion for transformation. This individual will lead key finance technology initiatives, oversee core financial systems, and help shape the future of digital finance through automation, analytics, AI, and process improvement.

Job Responsibilities

• Partner with the Finance Director of Transformation & Control and other Finance leadership and team members to develop and progress a multi-year finance technology roadmap.
• Lead the execution and continuous enhancement of the finance technology roadmap, aligning technology investments with finance transformation goals.
• Manage and optimize finance systems, including ERP, billing, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, analytics, and automation platforms.
• Partner with Finance, Accounting, FP&A, IT, and business stakeholders to identify opportunities to improve processes, controls, data quality, and user experience.
• Drive implementation of automation, AI-enabled capabilities, business intelligence solutions, system integrations, and self-service reporting tools.
• Champion finance transformation initiatives that simplify processes, reduce manual effort, and improve operational effectiveness.
• Collaborate with IT and vendors to ensure system reliability, security, integration, and scalability.
• Expand system process documentation, standard operating procedures, and workflows with a critical eye for continuous improvement.
• Establish strong governance, data management, and system performance practices and lead the technology-based audit and controls deliverables with assurance providers such as external and internal audit
• Establish and monitor key performance metrics related to system performance, adoption, support effectiveness, and business outcomes.
• Lead, coach, and develop finance technology resources while fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, Business, AI or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in IT, financial systems, enterprise applications, financial technology, finance transformation, financial systems controls and audit support, or related technology roles.
• 3+ years of leadership experience leading people, projects, vendors, or transformation initiatives.
• Demonstrated experience managing, implementing, upgrading/enhancing, or supporting finance systems such as ERP, planning, forecasting, consolidation, reporting, billing, analytics, automation, or business intelligence platforms.
• Strong understanding of accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, planning, and finance business processes.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives involving Finance, IT, and business stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of systems integration, data governance, reporting, analytics, and process automation.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technology solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud-based ERP systems, automation tools, AI/ML-enabled solutions, RPA, data visualization tools, or self-service analytics platforms.
• Experience with large-scale ERP implementations, finance transformation programs, system integrations, or Agile delivery methodologies.
• Experience managing vendor relationships, supporting contract discussions, and optimizing technology costs or licensing arrangements.
• Relevant certifications such as PMP, Agile/Scrum, or other technology, audit, security, project management, or finance systems credentials.
• Big 4 public accounting and technology consulting experience preferred.

Additional Requirements

The position follows a hybrid schedule with two days work from home and three days work from office.

Loomis Sayles is committed to offering competitive and equitable compensation. The salary range for this position is $150,000 - $200,000 USD. Your starting salary will be based on your experience, skills, qualifications and local benchmarking. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual incentive award, which is based on individual and company performance.
