STACK Infrastructure seeks an experienced Senior Manager, Finance Systems & Operations, to own the finance technology product roadmap and governance for ERP, planning, consolidation, and reporting.
You will partner with Finance, Accounting, Treasury and Tax to translate business priorities into architecture, data flows, and platform optimizations, delivering measurable business value.
STACK INFRASTRUCTURE (STACK) provides digital infrastructure to scale the world’s most innovative companies. We are an award-winning industry leader in building, owning, and operating highly efficient, cost‑effective wholesale, colocation, and cloud data centers. Each of our national facilities meets or exceeds the highest industry standards in all operational categories of availability, security, connectivity, and physical resilience. STACK offers the scale and geographic reach that rapidly growing hyperscale and enterprise companies need. The world runs on data. Data runs on STACK. THE POSITION STACK is seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Finance Systems & Operations, to lead the strategy, product ownership, governance, and continuous improvement of our enterprise finance technology ecosystem. Reporting to the Director of Enterprise Applications, this role sits at the intersection of Finance, technology, data, and operations. The Senior Manager will serve as Finance’s primary technology partner and product owner, working closely with Finance, Accounting, Treasury and Tax leadership to understand priorities, shape the roadmap, and ensure technology investments deliver measurable business value. This is not a traditional systems administration role. We are looking for a leader who understands how Finance operates, translates business strategy into technology priorities, and drives outcomes across ERP, planning, consolidation, treasury, reporting, analytics, integrations, and related enterprise platforms. The ideal candidate combines finance systems expertise with product ownership, program leadership, and enough technical depth to understand architecture, integration, data flows, configuration, and solution trade‑offs. This person is equally comfortable discussing business priorities with senior leaders, working through technical issues with delivery teams, and sequencing a multi‑year finance transformation roadmap. Success requires strong judgment, executive presence, organizational discipline, curiosity, and the ability to create clarity in a fast‑growing, ambiguous environment.
Own the Finance Technology Product & Roadmap
Serve as the product owner and strategic technology partner for Finance and Accounting. Own and communicate a finance systems roadmap aligned to business priorities, risk, technical health, and measurable value. Prioritize enhancements, projects, integrations, automation, reporting, and technical debt based on value, effort, dependencies, and sustainability. Shape a clear future‑state vision for STACK’s finance technology ecosystem.
Lead the Finance Applications Ecosystem
Provide governance and functional ownership across ERP, FP&A, consolidation, treasury, intercompany, tax, reporting, analytics, and related platforms. Maintain a holistic view of finance applications, integrations, processes, data flows, controls, and support needs. Partner with BSAs, developers, integration and data teams, vendors, and implementation partners to deliver scalable solutions. Evaluate solution trade‑offs, challenge assumptions, and support ERP optimization, platform evaluations, acquisitions, integrations, and transformation initiatives.
Partner with Finance Leadership
Build trusted relationships with Finance, Accounting, Treasury, Tax, FP&A, Procurement, and executive stakeholders. Facilitate discussions that clarify problems, outcomes, priorities, constraints, and trade‑offs. Communicate recommendations, roadmaps, risks, options, and status clearly to senior leaders. Drive alignment across competing priorities and ensure leaders have visibility into roadmap decisions, delivery health, dependencies, and change impacts.
Drive Process Improvement & Transformation
Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, automate, and improve Finance processes. Partner with stakeholders to assess current‑state processes and design scalable future‑state solutions. Drive improvements across close, reporting, planning, forecasting, treasury, intercompany, data quality, and related Finance capabilities. Promote practical use of workflow, analytics, automation, and responsible AI‑enabled capabilities where they improve efficiency or decision‑making.
Lead Delivery & Execution
Lead initiatives from concept through implementation with clear objectives, requirements, ownership, timelines, dependencies, and success measures. Coordinate cross‑functional delivery across Finance, Enterprise Applications, Data, Integration, Security, Infrastructure, and external partners. Proactively manage risks, resource constraints, escalations, testing, UAT, release readiness, change management, training, documentation, and production transition. Ensure solutions deliver expected business outcomes—not just completed technical requirements.
Govern Data, Reporting & Controls
Partner with Finance and Data teams to improve financial data quality, consistency, ownership, and governance. Support reliable reporting, KPIs, dashboards, and analytics for operational and executive decision‑making. Ensure SOX, audit, security, segregation of duties, data governance, and trusted‑source requirements are considered in solution design.
Manage Partners & Platform Health
Manage finance technology vendors, implementation partners, and support providers. Hold partners accountable for quality, timelines, issue resolution, and agreed deliverables. Monitor platform capabilities, vendor roadmaps, releases, technical debt, lifecycle considerations, and recurring production issues. Ensure appropriate documentation, governance standards, and support models exist across the Finance application portfolio.
Lead & Influence
Provide direction, mentoring, and subject‑matter leadership to BSAs and others supporting Finance. Set expectations for requirements quality, analysis, delivery discipline, documentation, and stakeholder communication. Influence across teams, create clarity in ambiguity, and bring options and recommendations forward. Drive accountability for commitments, outcomes, and continuous improvement.
