STACK Infrastructure in Denver, CO is seeking a Director, Mechanical Engineering to lead multi-phase data center projects and guide campus-scale facilities from concept to completion. You will oversee contract documents, ensure on-schedule and within-budget designs, and provide engineering guidance across operations and facilities.
A PE is preferred; 10+ years of data center HVAC design experience and IT cooling expertise are required.

The Director, Mechanical Engineering will support innovation initiatives, support campus master planning, and provide support to the Vice President, Architecture for a multi-phase, campus-scale construction project ensuring that cost-effective and energy efficient data center facilities are developed to meet the current and future needs of the company.
Location: Denver, CO preferred; Alternate STACK data center locations considered Travel: Some domestic travel required, estimated 25-33% Must be eligible to work in the United States Must pass comprehensive background screening MUST-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS Professional Engineer (PE) Registration is Preferred (Mechanical) Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent work experience Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the design of data centers and specification of HVAC equipment for mission critical facilities to be considered for Director level position. Candidates with 5-7 years’ experience in design of data centers can apply but will be considered for a Manager level position. Expertise in IT cooling technologies, both air and direct to chip liquid Understanding of mechanical cooling system control Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Teams and PowerPoint Baseline proficiency of AutoCAD, Bluebeam and Adobe Acrobat Compensation Range: $197,600.00 - $221,300.00
