Job summary

Centene is seeking an experienced financial analyst to oversee revenue forecasting, membership reporting and multi-year modeling. You will drive scenario planning, assess market penetration, and lead a team of analysts to deliver accurate multi-dimensional reporting.

The role supports strategic decisions across geography and sales channels in a fully remote US setting. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in accounting/finance, leadership experience, and proficiency with tools like Hyperion and SQL.

Qualifications

• 5+ years accounting, financial analysis or finance experience.
• Previous management experience including hiring, training and performance management.
• Experience in public accounting, operations, financial analysis, information systems and health care or insurance preferred.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Oversee preparation of accurate and timely financial reports related to revenue drivers such as membership volume.
• Oversee financial and business analyses based on sales/marketing/provider network data and regulatory changes.
• Assess and model market penetration using sales/marketing and provider metrics.
• Develop scenario planning and event-driven analysis for membership impact on decisions.
• Develop multi-year membership and revenue projection models and scenarios.
• Prepare budgets/forecasts and analyze results across geography and sales channels for membership and revenue.
• Manage month-, quarter-, and year-end closing and support analytical packages for business reviews.
• Develop/manage financial/data analysts to improve reporting accuracy of multi-dimension revenue and membership data.

This is a remote position and can be located anywhere in the US

Position Purpose

Oversee the maintenance of revenue forecast functions with emphasis on membership reporting and modeling.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee preparation of accurate and timely financial reports related to key revenue drivers such as membership volume
• Oversee the financial and business analyses based on information from sales/marketing/provider networkand regulatory changes
• Assess and model market penetration based on sales/marketing and provider network metrics
• Develop scenario planning and event driven analysis for membership volume impact in relationship to management decisions around market entry/exit
• Develop multi-year membership and revenue projection modeland scenario planning
• Prepare budget and forecast and analyze financial results across multiple dimensions such as geography and sales channel for membership and revenue
• Manage the month end, quarter end, and year end closing process and support the production of analytical packages for periodic business review
• Develop/manage financial/data analysts to drive continuous improvement in timely and accurate reporting of multi-dimension revenue and membership data

Education/Experience

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience. 5+ years of accounting, financial analysis or finance related experience. Previous management experience including responsibilities for hiring, training, assigning work and managing performance of staff. Experience in public accounting, operations, financial analysis, information systems and health care or insurance preferred.

Skills Preferred

Excel Model, Proficiency in Financial/Data System tools such as Hyperion, SQL

License/Certification

CPA preferred.

Pay Range: $107,700.00 - $199,300.00 per year
