Senior Manager, Finance Business Partner, G&A FP&A

Autodesk Finance is seeking a Finance Senior Manager, FP&A to partner in supporting our Corporate Divisions. This role reports to the Director of FP&A-G&A and will lead a team of analysts responsible for forecasting and reporting across several teams within the corporate functions. The role will also partner directly with senior leaders in the Legal department to manage budgets and planning and be responsible for the G&A functional long range plan for the company.

This role will also serve as a site leader in our Costa Rica office to help establish a strong Autodesk culture and sense of belonging for the more junior members of the FP&A team in Costa Rica, both within and outside of the FP&A-G&A team.

The right candidate for this role will demonstrate a strong knowledge of modeling with a strong understanding of key drivers, forecasting, accounting, strategic planning and the capability to work at multiple levels, including high level strategy and day-to-day financial details. We are looking for someone with recent people management experience and a passion for developing and growing a team as a key part of their role.

Responsibilities

Own oversight and consolidation of G&A functional long-range plan including providing a tops down and outside in analysis of G&A spend across multiple key metrics on a rolling 5-year basis. Working with Division FBPs to consolidate bottoms-up long-range plans at the Division level and reconciling the two views

Provide necessary forecast, analysis and take proactive steps to achieve financial targets and maintain quarterly variance of no more than 1%

Ensure compliance with financial and accounting policies and programs

Prepare critical financial analyses and executive level presentations to help stakeholders understand the context or 'why' behind our financial results

Manage analysts responsible for operating the headcount and variable spend forecasting process across all Corporate divisions, ensuring close internal partnership with G&A Finance Business Partners to meet forecasting needs

Consolidate G&A reporting for monthly forecasts and quarter-end

Aggregate financial information from people and financial software tools. Analyze and manipulate data using Power BI and other tools

Oversee process improvements, automations, reports, and dashboards across FP&A-G&A

Facilitate a sense of Autodesk culture and connection within the Costa Rica FP&A cohort and serve as onsite lead and mentor resource to more junior team members

Minimum Qualifications

BFA or MFA

7+ years work experience in accounting/finance

Excellent technical skills (Excel, Power BI, Accounting software)

Demonstrates a strong sense of curiosity and a willingness to explore new ideas, technologies, and solutions to continuously improve processes

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels

Recent management experience with demonstrated ability to manage and lead a team effectively
