Job summary

Wecom Fiber is seeking a Senior Manager of Field Operations Support to lead installation, repair, and maintenance operations across Arizona. You will drive operational consistency, contractor performance, and scalable growth while prioritizing safety and customer experience.

The role reports to the Director of Field Operations and focuses on building processes, analytics, and AI-enabled efficiencies to support rapid expansion and service excellence in the Phoenix market.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of telecommunications, broadband, utilities, infrastructure, or field operations leadership experience.
• Experience leading installation, repair, fulfillment, or maintenance operations.
• Strong contractor/vendor management experience.
• KPI reporting, operational analytics, and process improvement expertise.
• Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Advanced Excel and reporting proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide field operations leadership across Arizona, driving consistent, safe, and scalable service delivery.
• Oversee contractor performance and vendor management to meet SLAs
• Drive operational excellence, continuous improvement, and data-driven decision making
• Manage customer escalation handling and service quality programs
• Ensure safety compliance and adherence to quality standards
• Lead technology adoption and AI-driven process improvements and reporting

Position Summary

The Senior Manager of Field Operations Support plays a critical leadership role in supporting and scaling installation, repair, maintenance, and service delivery operations across Arizona. This leader will drive operational consistency, contractor performance, customer experience, safety compliance, and scalable growth.

• Knowledge of utility locates, drop bury, and field quality programs
• Experience with Gaiia, Sitetracker, Jira, Tableau, or Power BI
• Experience using Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini for business productivity
