Job summary

PJM Interconnection, L.L.C. in Washington, DC is seeking a Senior Manager, FERC to lead regulatory analysis and policy development across PJM’s footprint.

The role supports the General Counsel and executive teams while coordinating with Legal, Planning and External Affairs on evolving FERC matters. The ideal candidate has 10+ years at DOE or FERC, strong leadership and negotiation abilities, and deep knowledge of wholesale electricity markets and transmission planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience is required.
• At least 10+ years of experience at DOE or FERC.
• Experience engaging with FERC, legislative bodies, and public-sector stakeholders.
• Knowledge of wholesale electricity markets, transmission planning, reliability standards, and RTO operations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor FERC issuances, orders, NOPRs, and related regulatory matters affecting PJM.
• Summarize electricity market topics, resource adequacy, transmission, reliability and decarbonization.
• Assist attorneys with FERC pleadings and policy communications across the organization.
• Develop policy papers, briefs, and executive summaries for leadership review.
• Lead stakeholder engagement and prepare materials for regulators and policymakers.
• Coordinate with Legal, Governmental Services, Planning, Operations, Markets and External Affairs teams.
