Job summary

PJM Interconnection, L.L.C. is the nation’s first and largest Regional Transmission Organization (RTO) coordinating wholesale electricity and ensuring power system reliability across several states.

The Senior Manager, FERC supports the federal regulatory team with policy analysis, research, and recommendations. This role monitors FERC developments, analyzes orders and NOPRs, and provides insights to senior leadership.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, Economics, Business Administration, Energy Policy, Law, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 10+ years of experience at DOE or FERC.
  • Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor FERC issuances, filings, and policy developments affecting PJM and the electric industry.
  • Summarize matters related to electricity markets, reliability, decarbonization, and grid modernization.
  • Assist attorneys in preparing and filing FERC pleadings and ensure policy positions are communicated.
  • Analyze FERC orders and NPRMs; undertake regulatory analysis.
  • Develop policy briefs, summaries, and recommendations for senior leadership.
