Description

Senior Manager of Facility Services provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for Facilities Services, fostering a collaborative, high‑performing environment that prioritizes teamwork, safety, and exceptional customer service. The role ensures delivery of Facilities Services in alignment with Swedish mission, values, and service standards. Responsibilities include financial stewardship, continuous quality improvement, regulatory compliance, long‑term performance and reliability of the physical plant, and support planning, construction, and system‑wide improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, sustainability, and campus operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and direction to Facilities Services teams, promoting a culture of teamwork, accountability, and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure Facilities Services standards are consistently met, aligning with Swedish mission, values, and organizational expectations.
  • Develop, manage, and oversee budgets for the Facility Engineering department, ensuring responsible financial planning and fiscal accountability.
  • Lead and facilitate quality improvement programs and processes that support Swedish System values, focusing on both system‑wide improvements and campus‑specific initiatives.
  • Support planning and construction activities, ensuring coordination with operational needs and organizational priorities.
  • Ensure the physical plant systems, infrastructure, and equipment comply with all applicable regulatory, safety, and accreditation requirements.
  • Promote efficient, reliable, and sustainable facility operations through proactive maintenance, process optimization, and continuous improvement efforts.
