EY in Chicago seeks a Senior Manager for Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS). You’ll drive client engagements across industries, translate complex accounting issues into actionable strategies, and deliver an exceptional client experience.

Lead engagements, mentor teams of professionals, collaborate with partners, and travel to meet key clients. You’ll shape outcomes by balancing risk, governance and technical rigor while expanding EY’s trusted advisor relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business discipline with 8+ years of public accounting audit experience.
• US CPA licensure in your work state.
• Strong technical writing skills and advanced risk management knowledge.
• Deep understanding of marketplace terminology, processes and tools.
• Proven record of excellence in leading and mentoring teams.

Responsibilities

• Consult with clients on complex accounting issues and provide strategic guidance.
• Collaborate with partners and clients to influence strategy while balancing risk and expectations.
• Ensure the engagement team fully understands client needs and expectations.
• Build relationships across service lines to deliver integrated service.
