Job summary

The Arizona Cardinals are seeking a Senior Manager, Enterprise Risk & Insurance to lead enterprise-wide risk programs. You will identify, evaluate, finance, and mitigate risks across multiple entities, partnering with executives to protect assets and enable growth.

Reporting to the CFO, this in-person role oversees captive insurance, contractual risk transfer, claims, and construction risk, collaborating with Finance, Legal, HR, Operations, and external advisors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
• At least eight (8) years of progressive risk management and insurance experience
• Professional designations such as ARM, CPCU, CRM, or RIMS-CRMP preferred
• Demonstrated experience managing large commercial insurance programs
• Strong understanding of property and casualty insurance structures
• Knowledge of contractual risk transfer and indemnification
• Experience managing captive insurance companies preferred
• Experience with construction and real estate development risk preferred
• Experience in professional sports, entertainment, hospitality, aviation, or other complex multi-entity organizations preferred
• Strategic thinker with strong business acumen
• Executive presence and sound judgment
• Strong negotiation and relationship management skills
• Highly organized and detail-oriented

Responsibilities

• Insurance Program Management: Manage relationships with brokers, underwriters, and service providers; evaluate and administer all corporate insurance programs; prepare renewal submissions; analyze coverage and claims trends; coordinate loss control.
• Captive Insurance Management: Oversee administration of the organization’s captive; coordinate with managers, regulators, and brokers; renewals and expansion opportunities.
• Construction & Development Risk: Manage insurance for major capital projects; review contractor requirements; coordinate Builder's Risk and related coverages.
• Claims Management: Oversee significant property, casualty, and liability claims; act as liaison with carriers and counsel; ensure timely resolution and cost control.
• Contractual Risk Management: Review contracts for insurance provisions; advocate risk transfer; establish COI requirements across vendors.
• Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate with Finance, Legal, HR, Operations, Development; provide executive risk recommendations; support budgeting and loss-prevention initiatives.
