Job summary

Northrop Grumman’s Space Sector seeks aManager Engineering Technical Support – Level 2 to lead onsite technical operations in Redondo Beach, CA. You will oversee antenna hardware and electronics support, coordinate with RF/antenna design and test teams, and drive performance improvements in a hands-on lab environment.

The role requires an active SCI clearance, a strong engineering background, and experience guiding technicians in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of professional experience OR Master’s degree with 6 years of professional experience; additional 4+ years considered in lieu of degree.
• Active SCI clearance required at time of application.
• 3+ years of experience supporting RF or antenna hardware or antenna electronics in development or production environments.
• Support hands-on onsite work in lab and manufacturing settings.

Responsibilities

• Uses performance data to improve processes and standardize work.
• Provides staffing, coaching, and performance management for technicians.
• Section manager will be accountable for cost, schedule, quality, and shopload management.
• Oversees daily technical support for antenna hardware and electronics, including radome and antenna assembly.
• Partners with RF/antenna design, test, quality, and supply chain teams to execute on flight and IRAD hardware.
• Other duties as assigned.
