  • Partner with the HRBP team on interventions required for employees, effective management of performance-related matters, and preventing and mitigating employee relations risks.
  • Coach and influence all levels of employees on how to successfully deliver difficult messages.
  • Balance organizational risk with employee experience by assessing risks, advocating for employee-centric solutions, and ensuring alignment with business decisions while maintaining commitment to final outcomes.
  • Recommend policy changes and enhancements based on local, state, federal, and international law, ER data, and investigation outcomes and trends.
  • Track to and conduct compliance audits to ensure P&P teams are compliant and following local, state, and federal laws.
  • Lead compliance project management by defining compliance requirements, collaborating with P&P and business teams on implementation, and overseeing ongoing monitoring and auditing of practices.
  • Support integration workstreams as a result of any acquisitions should they occur, assessing the current state of the acquired organization, recommending an appropriate approach to achieve compliance, and partnering to execute on identified actions.

You have:

  • Undergraduate degree and a minimum of 8 years of experience in employee relations, human resources, or employment law.
  • Knowledge of US employment laws and regulations; knowledge of global employment law a plus (India, Poland, UK).
  • Strong track record of exercising sound judgment, while balancing urgency/time pressure and the need for attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to convey empathy while managing sensitive situations.
