You will direct design and implementation of electrical and control systems, report to the Director of Electrical Engineering, and drive cross-functional project success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
• Proven leadership experience and ability to manage engineering teams.
• Strong communication with internal/external customers and engineering groups.
• Ability to gather input, evaluate options, and make sound decisions.
• Knowledge of human resource principles and practices is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversite and direction to a distributed team of engineers and technologists.
• Recruit new talent including interns/co-ops and new hire engineers and technologists.
• Ensure resources are trained, qualified, and supporting design and installation of electrical systems.
• Identify engineering priorities, goals, timelines and cost implications.
• Drive best practices, lessons learned, and improvements in project performance and margins.
• Develop training and development plans; mentor the team for technical growth and satisfaction.
• Summarize engineering data and trends for leadership.
• Engage with external customers, partners and Westinghouse senior management.
