Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in life sciences, engineering, EHS, risk management or related field.
• Minimum 7–10 years of relevant industry experience with a track record of improving EHS performance.
• Knowledge of jurisdictional EHS regulations and their applicability to site EHS management.
• EHS technical and leadership experiences aligned with site risk profile to drive outcomes.
• Strong organizational, prioritization and change leadership capabilities.
• Collaborative mindset with strong influencing and project management skills.
• Experience managing/leading EHS personnel.

Responsibilities

• Set strategic direction for campus EHS management system improvement with short- and long-term objectives.
• Collaborate with site leadership on safety risk reduction and environmental impact priorities, provide data trends to drive CI.
• Maintain site legal register, impact assessment, and regulatory/commitment tracking; use self-assessments for effectiveness.
• Lead compliance calendar and inquiries for safety and environmental permits, registrations, and renewals.
• Serve as primary contact for EHS regulatory bodies and ensure alignment with Pfizer standards.
• Ensure implementation and effectiveness of EHS management systems and program harmonization.
• Establish/maintain site inspection/audit systems to drive improvements.
• Integrate safety and environmental risk assessment into operations for safe, compliant execution.
• Manage site EHS budget and oversee in-sourced/outsourced services.
• Collaborate with EHS peers to share best practices and drive adoption.
• Grow and develop EHS talent and readiness for emergencies.
• Participate in key committees and act as liaison for science lines/GWE teams.
