Job summary

Pfizer is seeking a Senior Manager, EHS to lead environmental health and safety programs for Bothell Canyon Park and North Creek. You will shape regional safety strategy, manage EHS systems, budgets, and regulatory compliance, and mentor a team of experts.

The role requires 7–10 years in pharma/biotech, strong leadership, change management, and collaboration with cross-functional partners. Location is On Premise in Bothell, with competitive US benefits and salary range $139,100–$231,900.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate Degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, EHS discipline, Risk Mgt or related field
• Minimum 7 - 10 years of experience in pharma/biotech/chemical with a track record of improving EHS performance
• Thorough knowledge of jurisdictional EHS regulations and site EHS management
• EHS leadership capabilities aligned with site risk to drive outcomes
• Collaborative, influential, and strong project management with change leadership
• Experience leading EHS personnel and training/presentation skills

Responsibilities

• Set strategic direction for continuous improvement of the campus EHS management system
• Collaborate with site leadership on safety/ environmental priorities & data trends
• Maintain site legal register, impact assessment, and regulatory tracking processes
• Lead compliance calendar and permit applications, registrations, & renewals
• Serve as primary contact for external/regulatory bodies
• Ensure EHS systems meet Pfizer standards and harmonization timelines
• Establish site inspection/audit systems and drive improvement actions
• Integrate safety and environmental risk assessment into operations
• Manage site EHS budget and services
• Collaborate with network peers to adopt best practices
• Grow and develop EHS talent
• Prepare for emergencies as needed
• Participate in key committees
• Serve as EHS liaison for science lines/GWE teams
• Perform other duties as needed
