Job summary

The Water Environment Federation (WEF) is seeking a Senior Manager, Educational Programming to lead the educational programming team and serve as the primary project manager for WEFTEC's technical program.

This role translates WEF's learning strategy into a high-quality, volunteer-driven program serving water professionals across career stages, disciplines, and learning needs, including CEUs/PDHs, LMS management, and performance measurement.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive experience in educational programming or related field.
• 2+ years of people leadership experience.
• Experience managing complex educational programs with multiple stakeholders and deadlines.
• Experience managing staff, setting priorities, coaching, and process improvement.
• Strong project management skills with budgets, timelines, and vendor coordination.
• Familiarity with CEUs/PDHs and continuing education requirements.
• Willingness to travel ~20% of the year.

Responsibilities

• Serve as project manager for WEFTEC's technical/educational program and lifecycle.
• Lead the Educational Programming team, priorities, and workloads.
• Coordinate with WEF Departments to align educational programming with strategy.
• Translate learning strategy into practical programming decisions for the portfolio.
• Lead staff and volunteers including committees, reviewers, and speakers.
• Oversee LMS and credentialing to meet CEU/PDH requirements.
• Manage budgets, timelines, vendor coordination, and risk management.
• Analyze feedback and metrics to drive portfolio improvements.
