M&T Bank is seeking a Senior Technology and Transformation Leader to guide the Digital Shared Services' Testing and SRE programs in Buffalo, NY. You’ll shape strategic direction, manage multi-cost center budgets, and influence risk, governance, and controls across the department.

The role requires deep experience in automated testing, incident management, and GenAI-enabled development, with a track record of leading cross-functional teams in Agile/Kanban environments.

Qualifications

• Solid knowledge of automated testing strategies and frameworks.
• Direct experience with production support and incident management.
• Experience leading teams using Agile and Kanban methodologies.
• Exposure to GenAI and agentic software development tooling and practices.
• Ability to operate in a complex, high-pressure production environment.

Responsibilities

• Direct and participate in client consultations to analyze requirements and recommend innovations.
• Monitor technology direction in test automation, observability, incident management, and vendor applications.
• Direct testing and SRE activities of assigned teams and coordinate with other managers.
• Implement technology aligned with standards and long-range plans, leveraging automation across teams.
• Oversee runbooks, risk management, and post-incident investigation processes.
