The Role

This leadership position reports to the corporate Deal Management organization and is responsible for Deal Management in assigned regions. You will lead a team supporting revenue generation, managing end-to-end deal processes, and ensuring seamless execution of complex transactions. Your focus will be on strategic guidance, process improvement, and operational support to enhance efficiency and outcomes. Collaborating with sales, finance, legal, and operations teams, you will facilitate successful deal closures while adhering to policies and best practices.

Your Impact
  • Lead and mentor a team of deal management professionals, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Set performance goals, evaluate regularly, and provide feedback to support growth.
  • Improve deal management processes and systems to streamline operations and enhance customer experience.
  • Identify bottlenecks, develop solutions, and optimize deal cycle times and closure rates.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth deal execution and resolve issues quickly.
  • Advise stakeholders on governance, workflows, and CRM support related to deal management.
  • Drive initiatives to improve alignment and collaboration across departments.
  • Develop metrics and dashboards to monitor performance and identify improvement areas.
  • Implement best practices to reduce agreement churn and errors in approval processes.
  • Manage the accuracy of commercial agreements to meet customer delivery needs.
  • Prioritize deals regionally to align with governance, pricing, and sales expectations.
  • Support sales with guidance, training, and resources to improve deal management capabilities.
  • Maintain deal management tools, templates, and resources to streamline sales processes.
What You'll Need
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or finance; MBA or CPA is a plus.
  • At least 7 years in deal desk, sales operations, or financial/business analysis.
  • 3-5 years of management experience, including performance management and team development.
  • Strong understanding of deal structures, pricing, and contract negotiations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel, CRM systems, and MS Office.
  • Strong analytical, project management, and problem-solving skills.
