  • Ensure data reliability, scalability, performance optimization, and data quality standards are met across platforms.
  • Apply advanced data engineering principles to address non‑routine and ambiguous technical challenges.
  • Translate business and analytic requirements into technical data solutions through direct partnership with Data Architects, Analytics teams, and business stakeholders.
  • Enable enterprise reporting, dashboards, and analytical products used for leadership decision‑making and operational performance.
  • Evaluate solution alternatives and recommend approaches based on technical feasibility, risk, and long‑term sustainability.
  • Establish and maintain data engineering standards, coding frameworks, and best practices aligned with Liberty IT governance.
  • Provide technical direction and guidance to lower‑level Data Engineers without formal supervisory authority.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for complex enhancements and architectural decisions.
  • Provide advanced technical consulting, incident support, and root‑cause analysis for production data solutions.
  • Support full lifecycle delivery using Agile methodologies, including design, development, testing, deployment, and stabilization.
  • Ensure solutions meet defined quality, security, and release standards.
  • Produce and maintain technical documentation, design artifacts, and solution standards to support auditability, regulatory review, and knowledge transfer.
  • Ensure alignment with enterprise change and release management processes.
