Job summary

Capital One seeks a Sr. Manager, Data Analyst - Enterprise Data Risk to lead analytics and governance across compliance testing efforts.

You will partner with Engineers, Data Scientists, Legal and Risk Management to design and implement analytical solutions identifying and mitigating compliance risks. You will mentor a network of data professionals and drive impactful projects with focus on data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field with 7+ years of data analytics experience or Master’s with 5+ years of data analytics experience.
• At least 5 years of professional data analysis work.
• At least 5 years leading and developing with open source data technologies.
• At least 2 years of experience managing people.

Responsibilities

• Drive current and future Compliance Testing tooling and analytical strategy.
• Plan and execute Compliance Testing analytical projects.
• Act as liaison between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
• Understand tool issues and assess tool risks and opportunities.
• Research and prototype best practices for emerging analytical tools.
• Communicate results clearly via reports and presentations.
• Coach and mentor junior staff.
