Capital One is seeking a Manager, Data Analysis to lead the design and execution of risk-focused transaction monitoring programs within the PULSE data framework. The role serves as a bridge between data engineers/scientists and legal/compliance leadership, shaping architectures and data environments for accurate risk decisioning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in quantitative field with 6+ years of analytics experience or Master’s Degree with 4+ years of analytics experience
• At least 4 years of experience performing professional data analysis work
• At least 4 years of experience performing programming

Responsibilities

• Design and implement a program for Transaction Monitoring aligned with Risk identification and modification.
• Act as the primary liaison between highly technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
• Partner with Data Engineering to design and optimize risk data environments.
• Advise product and business teams on risk implications of new data strategies and technologies.
• Drive current and future strategy by leveraging analytical skills.
• Conduct root-cause analyses on transactions and translate data findings into risk mitigation actions.
• Use SQL, Python, Splunk, and data visualization to parse large transaction logs.
• Synthesize technical data into clear narratives for senior leadership.
